This is a record of my efforts to restomod my 1968 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser. The goal is to build a "double take" FJ40, keeping the core components such as the drivetrain and axle assemblies Toyota and making improvements where they make sense and improve the performance and drivability of the vehicle. Factory from a distance until you look again. The Target Use is trails. Mild-to-moderate crawling, snow wheeling, dunes, and desert.

Am I a Welder/Fabricator Yet?
Sparks Were Flying!
Another Cruiserhead was kind enough to travel several hundred miles with his welding kit to teach me how to replace panels! Amazing dude and we managed to get the fuel pan panel about 90% complete. I'll finish the rest this weekend and hopefully start on other troubled areas too.
